The mankosi community is one of the most rural communities in South Africa and has never before had the privilege to witness live music. Come let an old Xhosa mama teach you to Jive to the local rhythm on our community stage while knowing that your contributions to this festival directly offers her and her family more options towards a better life. .
The backdrop of both stages is looking out over the Mdumbi Beach, voted as one of the most beautiful beaches in Southern Africa. Listen to music playing while watching dolphins and whales jumping in the background. ?

About 20km outside Mthatha on the N2 towards East London, turn Left to Coffee Bay and follow for about 70km then turn Left onto a gravel road at the Mdumbi / Umtata Mouth sign and follow the Mdumbi signs for 23km
