    With the release of her new album, Castles & Towers, two of her songs have been topping the South African charts since their release in January and her latest single ‘Pick Daisies’, has not only spent the last 10 weeks in the Number 1 spot on Cape Town radio, but is also play-listed on over 43 radio stations, both here and abroad.

    In Nederland en België is ze nog niet bekend maar als het van ons afhangt dan laten we haar deze festivalzomer moeiteloos overvliegen om daar verandering in te laten brengen. Er broedt iets down in Africa, en dat iets gaat in dit geval onder de naam Heather Waters. In Zuid-Afrika, waar Heather sinds 2004 al haar muziek begon te componeren en waar ze ondertussen een ontelbaar aantal gigs op haar naam heeft staan, is ze dan ook een gevestigde waarde. Sinds 2007 heeft ze het hele land meerdere keren rondgetoerd met haar folk liedjes, vanuit de schaduw van de Tafelberg in Kaapstad naar de drukke straten van de metropool Durban en weer terug.
